Stop your paper

Put your mail on hold

Before you plan your first barbeque it is important to give your gas grill a "tune up" to make sure it is in proper working order. Liquid petroleum (LP) gas or propane, used in gas grills is highly flammable. Each year more than 500 fires occur when people use gas grills and about 20 people are injured as a result of gas grill fires and explosions.

Many of these fires and explosions occur when consumers first use a grill that has been left idle for a period of time or just after refilling and re-attaching the grill's gas container.

Content Restoration includes:

Cleaning & restoration

Pack outs

Storage of contents in climate-controlled, secure building

Computerized personal content inventory

Computerized content reports

Klein's DKI skilled technicians are able to clean, sanitize, and deodorize
most household contents that appear at first to be unrecoverable. Susan Jess,
Contents Manager, has been with Klein's for 3 years. Susan has had professional
training in the contents field which include, Ultra Sonic Training, IICRC
certification in Fire Restoration and Digital Photo Inventory to name a few. A
new member on the contents team is Assistant Contents Manager, Bill Peterson.
Bill comes to Klein's with over 10 years of restoration experience and a
background in management. Bill has also taken the IICRC training course on
Digital Photo Inventory.

Outlined below are some of the cleaning technology systems Klein's uses.

Hydroxyl Machine

Klein's Contents Department uses the hydroxyl machine to provide a permanent
solution to fire and organic vapors, odors, bacteria, viruses, chemical fumes,
and gasses. The hydroxyl system is a new green technology and is the most
advanced solution for eliminating odors, decontaminating surfaces, and purifying
the air.

Ultra Sonic Cleaning

The ultrasonic system uses sound vibrations, hot water and engineered soaps
to clean smoke and soot covered contents.

Ultrasonic restoration is powerful enough to clean tough soot and smoke
damage items, yet gentle enough to clean delicate items such as crystal,
sculptures, and silk. The odor is removed and items are returned to pre-loss
condition.

Ozone Room

The Ozone Room at Klein's will be used in extreme odor conditions. Ozone is a
form of oxygen. It is a strong cleaning, purification, and oxidizing agent. It
reacts with organic materials to oxidize unpleasant odors and kill germs.

Content Inventory

At Klein's we use the Pack-Out Inventory System (POI) to streamline pack-out
and pack-in jobs. POI is a computer software program providing an inventory that
insurance claims adjusters and homeowners can review.

Once entered in the system the contents can be easily tracked from the moment
they are assessed through pack-out, cleaning, storing and pack-in.

Storage of Contents

We use a unique vault storage system to ensure that the belongings are
secure, organized, and kept clean and fresh for the duration that they are
stored in our climate controlled warehouse.

To learn more about our procedures drop by for a tour of our Contents
Department.
